Performance Rotors Acquired by Xtend Drone Company

Singapore-based drone technology company, Performance Rotors, has been acquired by Israeli drone software company Xtend.

Performance Rotors was founded with a focus on developing drones and robotic solutions for data acquisition in GPS-denied and confined space environments. These solutions reduce the risk to human lives while making inspections in maritime, oil and gas, and infrastructure industries as simple as possible.

Xtend has developed a semi-autonomous operation system that makes controlling a drone as simple as possible. With their control system, operators can perform accurate drone manoeuvres with minimal training.

This acquisition will boost XTEND’s ability to offer human-guided, remote interactive operations in a range of inspection scenarios, and grow its global business.
